Feng Shui can be traced back to ancient times. The earliest definition of feng shui in history was given by Guo Pu(郭璞) of the Jin Dynasty. In his famous work “The Book of Burial,” it is said that “the person who is buried, takes advantage of vitality, the qi (also spelled chi) dissipates with the wind, and the boundary water stops. The ancients gathered and used it without dispersing, and their actions stopped. Therefore, it is called feng shui. Yinzhai is the place where ancestors’ coffins are buried, and it is the place where ancestors can get good rest.

The feng shui of Yangzhai has an impact on people living here. No matter where these descendants are, whether in the end of the earth or in a foreign country, they will always be affected by the ancestral geomancy. The concept of a Yinzhai is different from that of a Yangzhai, as it has many particularities. The proportion of the influence of feng shui on people in Yang and Yin places is three to seven. Yangzhai accounts for 30%, Yinzhai accounts for 70%. If the feng shui of the ancestral place occupies all the Loong veins and acupoints very well, the Yangzhai can account for 40%, but not more, and its strength will not exceed the Yinzhai certainly. So, from this perspective, Yin Zhai Feng Shui is more important than Yang Zhai Feng Shui.
